FFA at State Capitol

On Monday, November 25th, FFA members from Buckingham Senior and Buckingham Middle FFA chapters traveled to Louisa County High School to participate in the Virginia Agriculture Leaders Conference. Members participated in a workshop on developing leadership, public speaking, and advocacy skills. It also helped students prepare for professional success and greater community engagement. The topics also centered on empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders and ensuring that students are equipped to represent FFA and the values it stands for. This opportunity prepared our students to participate in FFA Day at the Capitol, which was held on January 23rd in Richmond, Virginia. Members could speak to their elected officials at this event about the importance of supporting FFA, Agricultural Education, and the entire Agriculture Industry.
