Local Special Education Advisory Committee
Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), every student is entitled to a free and appropriate public education that meets a student's individual needs. The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) identifies needs in the education of students with disabilities and makes recommendations to the school division. SEAC members inform, console, and provide advice based on sound judgment to families and the school division.
